David Brin	Scientist, public speaker, and author. The Uplift War, was a New York Times best-seller and recipient of the Hugo & Locus awards. His novels have been translated into 20 languages.

Peter Clines	Author
Elwin Cotman	Elwin Cotman is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His work has been published in The Fairfield Review, Outsider Ink, the Writers on the Green Line Anthology, the Cyberpunk Apocalypse zine and The Dirty Napkin. He is currently a member of the Cyberpunk Apocalypse writers collective in Pittsburgh. In 2008 he wrote a story/liner notes for an album by piano-punk band Baby Killer Estelle. A veteran of the DC open mic scene, he has performed collaborative pieces with Joy Tojours and Brian Depuy of Jubilee.
Bret Culpepper	Professional Character Actor w/ 20 Years Experience on Stage & Screen including Alien Nation and Young Indiana Jones.
Sue Dawe	An artist working on a variety of themes with different media, but is best known for her fantasy airbrush designs, appearing in magazines & on back-to-school products, posters, greeting cards, games, and Franklin Mint plates.
Michael Dubisch	Mike Dubisch's paintings and drawings have shown at the Society Of Illustrators gallery and the JK5 Boutique. Recent projects include "Weirdling" from Catskill Comix, and the upcoming "The Vampire's Christmas," with Joseph Michael Linsner, from Image comics. Dubisch has created art for album covers, CD Rom packaging, magazines, comic-book covers, paperback book covers, corporate logos, t-shirts and web-sites. He is perhaps best known for his moody drawings and paintings for fantasy role playing game sourcebooks, primarily "Rifts" and "Dungeons and Dragons."
Denise Dumars	Denise Dumars is a literary agent for the Ashley Grayson Literary Agency. She agents dark fantasy/dystopian sf/horror fiction and metaphysical/new age nonfiction. She is also something of an H. P. Lovecraft scholar as well as being a writer of pagan nonfiction and horror/dark fantasy/sf short stories and poetry. Her grandfather was a steam engineer (not the locomotive type—the engineer type) and her grandmother, as a child laborer, witnessed the horrific Triangle Shirtwaist Company fire of 1911 which left her with a lifelong fear of steam.
Sheila Finch	The award-winning author of eight science fiction novels. Infinity's Web, received the Compton Crook award and her YA book, Tiger in the Sky, won the 1999 San Diego Book award for best juvenile fiction.

Kevin Gerard	Living in San Diego, California with his wife and four boys. He teaches sociology and statistics for the California State University and author of the Fantasy Adventure series "Conor and the Crossworlds.
Jean Graham	Her short stories and essays have appeared in the anthologies The Time of the Vampires and Fantastical Visions I and I, & in online and print magazines. Two stories will soon be available via Fictionwise.com.
Chris Marie Green	Former school teacher turned full-time writer, gets out of the office by taking long trips to places such as Japan, Italy, and New Orleans. She also writes under the name Crystal Green.
Brian Hart	Brian Hart is one of the founding members of The Independent Investigations Group in Hollywood, who have investigated many claims of the paranormal with critical thinking and scientific principles since the year 2000. It is with this group that Brian is able to promote and disseminate information about rational and scientific thinking.
John Hart	President of San Diego FX studio, Inc. creators of the "Haunting Faces line of prosthetics. He has been involved in film, theatre & haunts for many years and co-founded the Mira Mesa Monster Manor.
James Hay	The long-time programming officer of ConDor, a fan, role-player, trivia master and tissue-culture chemist.
Nancy Hay	Has been in fandom for 30+ years, most of it in costuming and writing/reading fanfic. She‘s raised a son and daughter to realize the benefits of the SF fandom community.
Samantha Henderson	A church office coordinator who writes fiction and poetry upon occasion.
Arthur Holcomb	Television Screenwriter
Nancy Holder	New York Times best-selling author lives and a four-time winner of the Bram Stoker Award from the Horror Writers Association, she has also received accolades from the American Library Association, the American Reading Association, the New York Public Library, and Romantic Times.
Calvin Johnson	Professor of physics at San Diego State University, and has had a number of short stories published, including in Analog and Realms of Fantasy.

Eytan Kollin	Teaches history, government & economics. His hobbies include battle recreation with historical melee weapons. The Unincorporated Man is his first published work.
Judy Lazar	Has a Ph.D. in microbiology and has worked as a medical writer. She is also a card-carrying skeptic of the paranormal, a sometime choral singer and a percussion player.

Lisanne Norman	Science fiction author born in Glasgow, Scotland and best known as the author of The Sholan Alliance series. She was trained as a teacher.
Val Ontell	Has worked 30+ years as a librarian, had con positions at Westercons, Worldcons, ConDor, ComicCon & Lunacons; & was a Lunacon Fan GOH.
Q. L. Pearce	Has written more than one hundred and twenty books for children, including eight collections of scary stories for middle grade and film tie-in books for the Fox animated film Titan AE and the Universal animated series Land Before Time.
Steven Potts	Since the mid-1980s he has taught courses on science fiction, fantasy, film, and other popular genres, on creative writing, and on youth culture for both the Literature and Communication departments. In addition, he periodically teaches children's literature and science fiction at San Diego State.
David Ross	A longtime editor of, and does most of the news stories & writes the editorials for, the Valley Roadrunner newspaper; wrote The Eighth Rank and The Argus Gambit and is working on Cranium.

Pearl Stickler	Prominent in San Diego fandom since 1973. Her current Harry Potter addiction has prompted friends to consider intervention.
William H. Stoddard	The author of several supplements for GURPS, published by Steve Jackson Games, including GURPS Steampunk, GURPS Fantasy, and his most recent book, GURPS Supers.

Linda Thomas-Sundstrom	Linda writes in the genres of fantasy and romance, and at the moment has two more books in the works in the paranormal romance genre. She prefers reading and writing dark historicals, with plenty of gothic-style atmosphere, but on a challenge from an editor is finding light contemporary paranormal also a kick to write.
Tamara Thorne	The author of numerous horror novels, heavy on ghosts, sex, & really bad puns. She writes non-fiction and is collaborating with Q.L. Pearce on a series on real haunted places.
Michael Underwood	Professor in the Rhetoric and Writing Studies Department and directs the Writing Tutorial Program at San Diego State University. He wrote his master's thesis on the works of J. R. R. Tolkien, and co authored a published article, "Gagool and Gollum: Exemplars of Degeneration in King Solomon's Mine and The Hobbit.
Greg Van Eekhout	Author
Vernor Vinge	One of the most visionary SF authors living today. A retired San Diego State University Professor of Mathematics, computer scientist, and science fiction author. He is best known for his Hugo Award-winning novels A Fire Upon the Deep (1992), as well as for his 1993 essay The Coming Technological Singularity
Victoria J. Waks	A native New Yorker, the author of the science fiction adventure TAU4 and HAMMERSPACE (Book Two in the TAU4 series) now lives and writes in a haunted carriage house in Los Angeles. A Nicholl's Fellowship Quarterfinalist Screenplay writer, V.J. Waks has for some time happily navigated between writing scripts, novels and theatrical works, in the perhaps mistaken belief that is it always good to have a Plan B.
