Traci Castleberry	A graduate of Clarion, the Taos Toolbox workshop for SF/F, and has a Master's in Writing Popular Fiction. She has two e-books out from Loose Id and one, as Nic Berry forthcoming from Torquere

Bret Culpepper	Professional Character Actor w/ 20 Years Experience on Stage & Screen including Alien Nation and Young Indiana Jones.
Sue Dawe	An artist working on a variety of themes with different media, but is best known for her fantasy airbrush designs, appearing in magazines & on back-to-school products, posters, greeting cards, games, and Franklin Mint plates.
Dawn Devine	Teaches belly dance & costuming, authored 9 books on belly dance costuming including Costuming from the Hip, & owns an independent publishing house, Ibexa Press.
Jane Fancher	Author, My interests are eclectic, from horses to computers, History to Quantum Physics, with a recently acquired passion for figure skating.
Sheila Finch	The award-winning author of eight science fiction novels. Infinity's Web, received the Compton Crook award and her YA book, Tiger in the Sky, won the 1999 San Diego Book award for best juvenile fiction.
Deborah Flores	An attorney & writer with a Masters in International Relations. She’s working on her first novel, heavily influenced by her love of history, folklore and fantasy.
Lynn Flewelling	Her fantasy novels have received worldwide acclaim and currently appear in twelve languages. She is also available for lectures and workshops.
Kevin Gerard	Living in San Diego, California with his wife and four boys. He teaches sociology and statistics for the California State University and author of the Fantasy Adventure series "Conor and the Crossworlds.

Jean Graham	Her short stories and essays have appeared in the anthologies The Time of the Vampires and Fantastical Visions I and I, & in online and print magazines. Two stories will soon be available via Fictionwise.com.
Chris Marie Green	former school teacher turned full-time writer, gets out of the office by taking long trips to places such as Japan, Italy, and New Orleans. She also writes under the name Crystal Green.
John Hart	President of San Diego FX studio, Inc. creators of the "Haunting Faces line of prosthetics. He has been involved in film, theatre & haunts for many years and co-founded the Mira Mesa Monster Manor.
P. J. Haarsma	PJ Haarsma and his Softwire books were selected by the Association of Booksellers for Children books as a selection in its New Voices project.
James Hay	The long-time programming officer of ConDor, a fan, role-player, trivia master and tissue-culture chemist.
Nancy Hay	Has been in fandom for 30+ years, most of it in costuming and writing/reading fanfic. She‘s raised a son and daughter to realize the benefits of the SF fandom community.
Samantha Henderson	A church office coordinator who writes fiction and poetry upon occasion.
Howard V Hendrix	American scholar and science fiction writer, author of the novels Lightpaths and Standing Wave and a member of the editorial board of Comitatus: A Journal of Medieval Studies.

Eytan Kollin	Teaches history, government & economics. His hobbies include battle recreation with historical melee weapons. The Unincorporated Man is his first published work.
Debbie P Kolodji	President of the Science Fiction Poetry Association and a member of the Haiku Society of America. She has published over 850 poems and 4 chapbooks.
Tom Kovac	Tommy Kovac has been writing and illustrating comics since 1999. He has written & illustrated the original series, Stitch, Skelebunnies and Autumn. Kovac also writes Wonderland, a new look at Lewis Carroll's classic creation. Wonderland is published by SLG & Disney, and illustrated by Sonny Liew.
Judy Lazar	Has a Ph.D. in microbiology and has worked as a medical writer. She is also a card-carrying skeptic of the paranormal, a sometime choral singer and a percussion player.
Todd McCaffrey	Author and collaborator continuing the Dragonriders of Pern series.
Sharon Mock	A writer and founding member of the Weird Pudding writers' group. Her work has appeared in Clarkesworld Magazine, Coyote Wild, and Realms of Fantasy.

Shweta Narayan	A local writer and poet published in places such as Strange Horizons, Shimmer and The Beastly Bride. She’s an alum of Clarion '07, for which she received the Octavia Butler Memorial scholarship.
Lisanne Norman	Has had many fantasy and historical short fiction stories in DAW anthologies and is writer of the Sholan Alliance series. The 8th novel, Shades of Gray was recently turned in.
Matt Pallamary	Author, Shamanic Explorer, and writing teacher specializing in short stores, novels and screenplays featuring his long-awaited memoror Spirit Matters
Q. L. Pearce	Has written more than one hundred and twenty books for children, including eight collections of scary stories for middle grade and film tie-in books for the Fox animated film Titan AE and the Universal animated series Land Before Time.
Steven Potts	Since the mid-1980s he has taught courses on science fiction, fantasy, film, and other popular genres, on creative writing, and on youth culture for both the Literature and Communication departments. In addition, he periodically teaches children's literature and science fiction at San Diego State.
Jennifer Ouellette	The Science & Entertainment Exchange is a program of the National Academy of Sciences that provides entertainment industry professionals with access to top scientists and engineers to help bring the reality of cutting-edge science to creative and engaging storylines. Ms. Ouelette will speak on the organization's efforts to keep the science in science fiction.

William H. Stoddard	The author of several supplements for GURPS, published by Steve Jackson Games, including GURPS Steampunk, GURPS Fantasy, and his most recent book, GURPS Supers.
Jefferson Swycaffer	A local writer of SF and fantasy, an energetic fanboy, exponent of furry fandom & has authored books including Become the Hunted & Web of Futures.
Tamara Thorne	The author of numerous horror novels, heavy on ghosts, sex, & really bad puns. She writes non-fiction and is collaborating with Q.L. Pearce on a series on real haunted places.
Linda Thomas-Sundstrom	Linda writes in the genres of fantasy and romance, and at the moment has two more books in the works in the paranormal romance genre. She prefers reading and writing dark historicals, with plenty of gothic-style atmosphere, but on a challenge from an editor is finding light contemporary paranormal also a kick to write.
David Trowbridge	An author with Sherwood Smith of Phoenix in Flight, Ruler of Naught and books in the Exoridum series.

Vernor Vinge	One of the most visionary SF authors living today. A retired San Diego State University Professor of Mathematics, computer scientist, and science fiction author.
