ConDor Passports

The ConDor Passports are back.  The passport allows a traveler to “visit” various planets (Stationary Con Rooms), Ambassadors on the United Planets Space Station (Dealers Room), Recruitment Centers (Fan tables), and assorted pleasure cruisers (Concerts & Room parties) located in the ConDor star system.  Upon arrival, you must present your passport to a S.P.A.C.E. Customs Agent for inspection and endorsement stamp.

The Passports will be available at the ConDor registration desk but supplies are limited so get them while you can.  For those of you who already have a passport, bring it to the Condor Registration desk for renewal and additional pages if needed.  A Destinations List will be included with each passport to help travelers find their way around the ConDor galaxy.

People Bingo

Once again we are happy to present People Bingo, a hall activity. The object of the game is to collect signatures of attendees, guests and staff who meet the criteria of any one square on the People Bingo “Card”. You may not sign your own card. Any individual may only sign one square on a card. There will be two cards handed out at the ConDor Registration table. Card I, will be handed out 11AM Friday thru 2 PM Saturday or until they run out which ever comes first. Card II , will be handed out 3 PM Saturday thru 2 PM Sunday. Only one card per person. 

Complete a bingo (complete a row, column or diagonal) and bring it to the ConSuite for a badge ribbon. Bring in a completely filled in card by the deadline and receive a ribbon and $1 ConDor Buck. Special prize: The first person to bring in a completely filled out Card I on Friday or a completed Card II on Saturday will receive a $5 ConDor Buck.  Good luck!

Badge Ribbons

Badge ribbons were introduced to ConDor several years ago but were fully embraced last year and at our fan table at Comic-Con so we’re bringing them back.  Some ribbons will be available at the Registration desk, some on certain days of the convention, some from various programming rooms and some from people roaming the convention floor.  There are over a dozen ConDor sponsored badge ribbons out there so happy hunting.

Hall Costume Awards

ConDor has always encouraged costuming and this year is no different.  Here’s your chance to wear your costumes for all to see.  Put on your corsets, wizard robes, capes, boots, goggles and hats and have fun walking the catwalk of the ConDor star system.   During the course of the convention there will be roaming judges handing out Hall Costume Award badge ribbons to acknowledge your creativity and hard work. 

ConDor Scavenger Hunt

We regretfully must cancel this year's ConDor Scavenger Hunt.  The organizers, James  & Dan, have other real life commitments that will not allow them to run the event.  However, the San Diego Rocket Race, an annual sci-fi themed urban puzzle race around town,  will be held in November so check out their web site (www.sdrocketrace.com) for details.
