We will be sharing the Crystal Ballroom with the Art Show for one stop shopping. Next year's theme is Death and Beyond.  This could generate many ideas for products and decorations.  Give it some thought and I ll have more details later.  If you have ideas you d like to share, I d love to hear them!
 
I am looking for some fun and exciting ways to make the Dealers Room profitable for you and a good draw for the members.  One of the things we are talking about is a game where the members get their passports stamped at various stations for a chance at some prize.  The Dealers Room is an obvious choice for booth visitors to get stamped and as possible prize providers.  Another idea is having Con-Dor-only gift certificates,  Con-Dor Bucks , to the Dealers Room for winners at the Masquerade and other contests.  These would be redeemed at a dealer s table, and then turned in for reimbursement to you from the con.  I am also considering a booth decorating contest.  With the Death and Beyond theme there are a lot of possibilities.  The members could vote and there could be some special something for the winner.  Maybe members who buy something would get additional votes, but every member would have to get at least one.

Tables are $60 each and include one membership per table. Additional memberships are available at the rate of $25 each. Since table space is limited we are initially limiting tables to two per dealer. If you would like a third table, let us know at the bottom of the form and, if possible, we will honor your request. Space is allocated on a first come, first served basis. By convention time there is usually a waiting list of dealers hoping someone else will cancel.

A few words about California State Sales Tax laws. All dealers must fill out and sign the form "BT-410-D Swap Meets, Flea Markets, Or Special Events Certification" form. On this form please note "Section 3. STATUS." If you hold a California State Board of Equalization Seller's Permit, check that box and enter your account number in the space provided. If you don't have a Seller's Permit, and aren't selling either Exempt Property or your sales aren't exempt Occasional Sales, then you must fill out the Temporary Seller's Permit. After the convention, you may be required to file a Sales Tax Return with appropriate attached forms.
